Pre Order Policy - De$igner Collective (New Zealand)
At Designer Collective, selected items are available for pre-order. Pre-ordering allows you to secure limited-release pieces before they officially drop. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
What a Pre-Order Means
A pre-order is the purchase of an item that is not currently in stock but is expected to be available for dispatch at a later date. Estimated release and shipping timelines will be clearly stated on the product page at the time of purchase.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time the pre-order is placed. Your order will not be confirmed until payment is successfully processed. Pre-order purchases are legally binding once payment is completed.
Processing & Handling Time
Pre-order items require additional processing time. Estimated processing time is typically 7–21 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product listing. This timeframe may vary due to supplier availability, production schedules, or unforeseen delays.
Shipping Timeframes
Once your pre-order item has been received and processed, shipping timeframes apply as follows:
• New Zealand: 2–5 business days
• Australia: 5–10 business days
• International: 7–21 business days
Shipping timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays & Supply Chain Risks
Designer Collective is not liable for delays caused by manufacturing issues, customs processing, courier disruptions, global supply chain delays, or events beyond our control. If a significant delay occurs, we will notify you via the contact details provided at checkout.
Cancellations & Refunds
Pre-orders may be cancelled only if the item has not yet entered processing. Once processing has begun, cancellations are no longer permitted. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
If we are unable to fulfil your pre-order due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or store credit at your discretion.
Consumer Rights (New Zealand)
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under New Zealand law. All pre-order purchases are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act where applicable. These rights apply in addition to any store policies.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information. Designer Collective is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete details provided at checkout.
Agreement
By placing a pre-order with Designer Collective, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Pre-Order Policy.
